I put one of these lights in my two car garage where I always had trouble seeing in the dark corners to find things on a storage shelf. Oh my goodness! What a difference! This product didn't work straight out of the box. Tried everything but nothing. It at first it acted like it was low on butane. So we tried to fill it. It did not accept the butane and acted as if it was full. We then got it lit after clicking it about 20 times and it finally caught a flame which kept going out as if it was empty. It wasn't. This was bought for 2 1/2 year old granddaughter and her 6 yr old sister. They love it and it is such fun watching them bounce around on it. Even my 8yr old grandson has tried it. We use a lot of rechargeable batteries in our house, mostly AAs and AAAs. These do not stand out and lasts about the same amount of time as other batteries. Although they initially worked on arrival, I did charge them completely before using them. They did not have any issues with this first complete charge. I bought this for my 10 year old daughter. This helmet fit perfect and the design was exactly as pictured. It is so cute and she received many compliments at her horse riding lesson. I found an online calculator where I could enter the weight of the door and the dimensions and find the right size to order and about where on the door and frame to mount them. The door weighed 23 lbs at the handle and was about 30" tall. These are good sturdy struts and have worked smoothly and consistently since I installed them.
