I have long curly hair. I blow dry by leaning below the waist, so I basically lie upside down and ruffle my hair as it dries. Right from the first use, after only 8 minutes of use, I noticed that the blue metal plate that distributes the airflow is crooked. I turned off the dryer and set about fixing it. At this point I noticed that the black plastic "fingers" were melted and twisted. I removed the plate and the entire plastic cone was melted and lumpy. I'm lucky it didn't start a fire or at least ruin my $80 hair dryer (Rusk w8less). Needless to say, he's back!
