I have used these cable clamps to route cables under the table (cable management), at least in my experience these clamps work through the hole. Very strong clips that fit almost all the cables I have under my desk, these clips even fit my thick power adapter cable which impressed me. The double sided tape used on these clamps is very, very strong. I've had experiences with various tapes that just suck. But oddly enough, with that duct tape, she did her job. Hope you have the same experience as me. Definitely recommend them
