Overall, these are good boots for characters that are hard to find and expensive. My street shoe size is 4.5 so I ordered 5 which is the smallest size available. My thumb was on the end of the boot so I like my flats. However, they are widespread on the foot, calf and especially on the ankle. After a pair of socks, the canvas gives a little. Also, like ballerinas, they don't have a right or left side and can be switched from foot to foot to last a little longer. If you're making a quick transition, be sure to fully loosen the laces. They are much harder to take off than to put on. If I need other colors I will order them again. Order them as soon as you know you need them. It took mine a whole month to get here.
