For this price point, you can't beat it. It's clearly a budget desk so if this is your budget it's a good option to consider. Assembles in about an hour if you're a very careful engineer like me, who checks everything 3 times. It doesn't seem like it would have a problem supporting a laptop and a couple of monitors but I haven't stress tested the load. Don't see any obvious wobble or anything. I checked each screw and tighten things carefully.Delivery is a single heavy box. I think it might be 60 lbs so you might want 2 people to carry it inside.Pros:- Instructions to assemble are clear and parts are labeled with stickers so for each step is idiot proof and things like right and left leg use different codes so you can't mix anything up.- Instructions are a huge improvement over the way these instructions were written before- All screws are same size so that just makes the job that much easier, and I appreciate the forethought of that- No obvious English translation errors, so that's a surprise!- A couple of extra parts provided and clearly labeled as extras, so they anticipated you might loose/break stuff- Parts are milled to fairly precise tolerances so things fit together without a lot of force. You should not have to wrestle anything into place if you do it right.- Metal frame is fairly solid, especially given the price- Electric motor is pretty quiet- The control panel can set 4 individual height preferences and a max height, but I haven't used eitherCons:- Desktop is two boards. In my case, they aligned well and the gap is not all that noticeable. This is clearly a compromise to hit this price point. Personally I would have paid $50 more to get a single board, myself. At first glance you would not notice it's two boards unless someone told you for my desk- Looks like real Walnut and not sure if it's a laminate or what but you won't get a big piece of real lumber at this point and I don't like the look of other bamboo desks myself.- Single motor drives the height. There is a pole between the two sides to transfer power to lift the other side and that seems okay. A more elegant solution would be 2 motors, but this is another price tradeoff.- Motor is a bit large and mounted to inside leg but it's under desk so you won't see that- Moving up / down is a bit slow and it seems like the motor alternates between fast and slow but this doesn't seem like a big issue. If it is, I will update this review.- Metal parts have what looks like powder coat black and no defects seen with thatAll in all, thumbs up! This is my second electric desk and my main one is a Jarvis which is nice but is more than 3 times the price, including a custom piece of reclaimed lumber. This is not that market but it's a solid budget pick.
