Review on SAMSUNG Galaxy Watch Active2 (Aqua Black, R820-44mm) πŸ“± with Bluetooth, Silicon Strap, and Aluminum Bezel - International by Qui Qui ᠌

Revainrating 5 out of 5

I do not cease to rejoice at the purchase, a very good deal!

I bought this watch since I switched to Android. Before that, I used the Apple Watch S3. I was pleased with the large number of custom watch faces in the market, you can always find something to your taste. A lot of different workouts, much more than on the Apple Watch. With AoD enabled, the watch lives the same 2 days as the Apple Watch without it. Samsung measures activity, oddly enough, better than the Apple Watch, which terribly lied about the distance traveled even after calibration. But Samsung stumbles over little things that are very noticeable after the Apple Watch. Vibration is not very good, especially after the AW's Taptic Engine. Auto-brightness is slower, you take out the watch from under the sleeve of the jacket and wait another second until the sensor swells up and sets the desired brightness. The screen activation gesture does not work well, so you run on a treadmill, you want to see your pulse, you raise your wrist - and nothing. You try again, but more slowly - the screen deigned to be activated. There are many workouts, but the screen of an already running workout itself was made by a person who has never used them. Why are calories shown on the first screen and pulse on the second? Because of this, you have to scroll through the screens. And you do all this while running on the track. The ability to customize these screens would not hurt. The wireless charging tablet has a very weak magnet, the watch loses contact with the charger very easily. Autonomy, although better than my previous Apple Watch, but still there are not enough stars from the sky, the same ordinary Galaxy Watch live longer. But I like the design of the Active much more. Despite all the above disadvantages, I am completely satisfied with the watch, because this is the best option if you use Android. I do not recommend this watch to iPhone owners, the functionality of the Galaxy Watch Active for iOS is greatly reduced, it is better to take an Apple Watch.

Pros
  • Pay with Samsung Pay The abundance of dials Always-on display Sports functionality Waterproof Tizen OS
Cons
  • autonomy Raise hand gesture not working perfectly Weak magnet in charging disgusting vibration
