Review on Halo Dry High Protein Cat Food with Salmon & Whitefish by Rose Sanchez

Revainrating 5 out of 5

So I had to make sure my cats were up for a visit every other day

My picky kittens usually only eat wet food. I guess that's partly my fault as I've only fed her wet food since she was a child, but that's not always the most comfortable thing to do. Last summer my family was preparing to move out of state and that meant we had to be away from home at times. My cats don't travel and my nanny was busy so I had to make sure my cats were visiting every other day. I mean dry cat food. Now I sometimes buy things at the grocery store. Not often, but once or twice. And while it might not look much different in their bowls, they smell quite different in their boxes, if you get my meaning. I have done highly scientific research (feeding them and then bailing out their crates) and I can say without a doubt that my anecdotal evidence shows that good food = less stink. In addition, this food is great because it is very high-calorie. My fat cat might disagree as she loves to eat, eat, eat and eat, but I love that I can feed her less food (hello, savings!) and enjoy the benefits of good food. He's adapting but still prefers wet food. Now I use a fairly even mix of this and wet food. My cats are happy, less smelly and healthy. I call it victory.

Pros
  • Great for outdoor activities
Cons
  • Hard to tell
