A few months ago we installed SeeLevel sensors on a four year old rig. I was disappointed because the black tank reading was very inconsistent after a few fills and flushes. The SeeLevel website mentions that sometimes on an old drill rig, debris on the tank walls causes the SeeLevel sensors to read incorrectly. One of the products that SeeLevel recommends for removing deposits is Happy Camper Extreme Cleaner. a full container along with 15 gallons of water and 2 ice packs in a black tank and made a 7 hour trip. At the end of the trip, we filled the black tank to the brim with water and left it overnight. The next morning we emptied and flushed the tank and the gauges showed it was empty. We're snowboarding in Florida right now and at this point it looks like the sides of the tanks have been cleaned properly so the SeeLevel sensors are working fine. That makes me a very happy camper!
