We have a few Melissa and Doug magnetic dress-up dolls and I really like this open tray case style. The lid requires the princess and horse to remain attached during transport as they will not fit inside. They are pretty safe so that shouldn't be a problem. It also has a carry handle. It's a good size to take to a friend who doesn't have toys or to a restaurant. This set offers tons of mix and match options for one Princess. I love that the doll can be turned around for darker skin tones and hair. There are a lot of little magnets here so it's important to avoid accessories for children who still put things in their mouths. The child can still use them Have fun - and just put the accessories away - until it's done or until a small child is around I have a problem with my older child using this toy chen is ready and her younger sister is not.
