The adhesive strip failed and the screen fell off

Everything was going well until two weeks later I found that the screen had fallen off because the adhesive strip hadn't come loose. Now the screen is broken.

The glue didn't work but the rest of the kit was fine

The kit was good for removing the old glue but the new glue came off after about a week or two. Luckily I only had to replace the display cable (I could have lost the entire display!)

Perfect for computers and accessories

I used this kit to open up my 2013 iMac, clean it and install an SSD to fix a very slow hard drive. I wouldn't recommend this for those unfamiliar with tools as the risk of damaging the iMac during the process required to open it is too great.

Perfect, installed SSD in about 20 minutes, sealed like new

This kit contains everything you need to open and reseal your 21.5" iMac. The kit comes with 2 sets of gaskets , just in case I should do it again, and also allowed me to swap out the SSD with a drive of my choice, allowing me to save big on the full OWC kit that includes the SSD and the enclosure am very satisfied and would recommend this to anyone looking to do it to replace a drive in a 21.5" iMac. Excellent kit

Extremely successful work. Instructions were great, plus some online video walkthroughs. These tools worked great. I'm not a clumsy person, but I'm not an experienced technician either. The screen went black, the hard drive came in, the screen lit up again. the end. Highly recommended if you can do it carefully and follow the instructions.

PLEASE DO YOURSELF A FAVOUR. DO NOT BUY! AVOID AT ALL COSTS! BUY ANOTHER KIT. The instruments are fine. It really is a TAPE that sucks. I did an SSD upgrade for my Imac 21.5".
