Review on WAINLUX Engraving Machine: Your Ultimate Tool for Beading & Jewelry Making Success by Carol Miller

Appearance: This is a very basic engraving machine with an LED screen for more engraving options. I plugged it directly into the PC so I didn't have much trouble getting it to work once I found a long enough USB cable. Under Win 10: Install the drivers using the supplied USB stick and then open the engraving software. Switch to English and you can start testing the sample images. Thoughts: They don't really give you many instructions on how to set up the machine. How far does the laser have to be moved, what power levels or engraving depths. I only did hits and misses. More misses than hits. I've found, that deeper engraving may burn the edges of the product, and clear lines will be terrible. Mine came out almost perfect too. I would like to save these settings in the software. I could try open source software but I don't know how difficult it would be to set up this system. 4/5 stars due to the steep learning curve of using this item. Overall: Not bad - steep learning curve
