I bought this Planet Audio 1500w monobloc amp to drive a 10" Planet Audio 1500w woofer which, based on my experience with the 8" -Bought Planet Audio woofer which I used in a ported enclosure I built for my garage system. This speaker weighs 8 inches! It was an experiment to see what a smaller woofer could do. I bought a second woofer and built an enclosure for my 1989 Bronco based on the manufacturer's sealed enclosure specifications. I still needed an amp to power it, so I went with the Planet Audio box to match. I have to say that for only $200 for the mounting hardware for the amp, subwoofer, and cabinet, I'm very happy with the result! You can still get bass on a budget with Planet Audio. I love it!
