Review on Kenwood KMM BT325 Bluetooth Connection Alphasonik by Sony Bailey

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Without a doubt the BEST Kenwood!

I installed stereos for Best Buy in 1998 and at one time I had my own car stereo shop so I installed a lot of car stereos. Many of them were the same, but only now Kenwood has finally changed for the better. There were features in this stereo that I wasn't even aware of. I had an existing Kenwood that I bought a year ago and the subwoofer performance was exploding so I quickly went to Revain and bought this one. I'm really glad they finally got rid of the CD player as I haven't used a CD in over 15 years. Although I had no idea due to the distance of the disc it was only about three inches deep! I took a picture and uploaded it here for you to see. Because of this, I have a lot more room for all the cables crammed into the small area where my device resides. Because of this extra space, I can add a larger radiator and fan to keep it cooler. I also didn't know about the cool slowly changing lights that can be set to either static or dynamic. Another great feature that should always be present in all car stereos is the ability to easily turn off the display. It turns back on when you press the button or touch the volume slider. The cool changing lights are relaxing though, so I leave them on. I've also paid close to $200 for Bluetooth devices and this one was only $79. It has RCA outputs not only for the subwoofer, but also for mids and highs, which is a rare find on a budget device. I wish the USB connector was removed and possibly replaced with a Type-C, but that's a minor thing. I only use Bluetooth so I wouldn't mind removing the AUX and USB but I understand if they leave that to other people. I am very happy with this purchase and I hope they keep good ideas for future models.

Pros
  • Pretty impressive
Cons
  • boring packaging
