Uses a very poor quality socket in a not very well designed case. The combination of the slot with the socket is not very successful, and the card naturally wants to slide and not into the socket. You need to insert the card at an angle so that it fits into the slot instead of falling into the case. Once the card is in the slot, the latch clicks, but it doesn't actually hold the card, so it wobbles when the slot isn't upright. This might work for some very specific uses, but I wouldn't recommend it for setups where you're regularly changing cards (which is the point for an expansion socket :/ UPDATE: I disassembled the case and inserted a few pieces of thick cardboard between cases and socket (0.6mm) and that solved the alignment problem It doesn't help with blocking but I can at least use it for a project where the socket is always vertical.
