Review on Bose QuietComfort 25 Acoustic Noise Cancelling Headphones with 3.5mm Wired Connection for Apple Devices - Black by Anastazja Matejczyk

Revainrating 4 out of 5

Reliable product for all occasions, quality on par.

Because there were 110 people working in the new office, there was an immediate requirement for noise protection. Before that, there was a model called the Sennheiser 280 pro; I will contrast them with that model. I took headphones solely for the purpose of utilizing the active noise cancellation. The majority of the time, I was supposed to sit in them without music so that it would be more peaceful. As was mentioned in other reviews, the headphones are very good at blocking out repetitive noise and hum as well as other types of background noise. The unintelligible commotion caused by the crowd will almost completely disappear. However, sounds that can be identified individually (a nearby voice, doors, heels - all this is audible, but more muffled). My impressions: At my office, we have an open floor plan with 110 employees, and during the busiest parts of the day, everyone speaks to one another. The program that was running on the iPhone showed that the level of noise was approximately 60 decibels. We put the headphones in our ears. You immediately feel pressure on your ears, which is an accurate comparison to being in an elevator at a high speed. Only when you open your mouth in the elevator does the effect stop having an impact, whereas here the pressure remains constant. And it seemed to me that the more noise there was in the environment, the more it pressed (logically). In most cases, turning it off allows one to perceive the effect of noise reduction in a manner that is much more distinct. Certain sounds can be heard despite the fact that it appears to be a noisy environment; however, I would prefer complete silence. you think to yourself, "I'm tired of this pressure on my ears," and then you turn it off and. You comprehend how wonderful it had been! At first, a peculiar sensation of having to "make a choice between two evils" is produced; specifically, the sensation that one must either sit with pressure in the ears or in noise. Even so, it is improved with pressure. If we are to use analogies, it is comparable to having a good double-glazed window installed in a window that overlooks a busy street. I made it much quieter by closing the window, but even with it shut, I could still make out some sounds. If you climb under a down pillow, for example, the sounds of the outside world will be muffled. The design seems to be breathable, they do not press, and they are not heavy, all of which contribute to the fact that the ears do not notice any sweat. Comfortable for long-term use (unlike senheisers). The noise isolation provided by the passive construction is subpar. Sennheisers are better. The same goes for sound, and in many ways it is even more transparent. It came as a complete surprise to me when I heard new notes in familiar compositions, particularly at the bass level (light, barely audible). Something has changed with the way the sound has developed. The sound has a wider range of colors, but less contrast between them. When compared to photography, it's very similar to a histogram. At Bose, the sound is neutral, but you can make out all of the nuances. And with Sennheisers, a touch more "cool"; this is due to the loss of some subtleties, but in general, the sound became more distinct and interesting. The same kind of situation can be found underground. After removing the headphones, it is unclear how I was able to function normally in such a loud environment in the past. However, it does appear that the level of noise has not significantly decreased. In general, I am very happy with the purchase; however, there were no other options available to me in the noisy office where I worked. Well worth the purchase price, and very satisfying to work with. But if there is silence, I'd rather listen to music through my old Sennheiser headphones than just sit in it.

Pros
  • Noise abatement, craftsmanship, design, and equipment, as well as a disassembled design.
Cons
  • The sound quality (in comparison with the sennheiser 280 pro) is described below, the price (I took it for 13100), when walking vigorously, they strangely "jump" on their heads, making a croaking sound - in time with the steps. It is physically impossible to walk and listen to anything at the same time. The white version quickly shows signs of soiling (a friend has a few months and the rag insert at the top is already gray-dirty).
