Review on πŸš— Britax EZ-Cling Car Window Sun Shades, 2 Pack with UPF 30+ Protection, Glare & Heat Reducing - Easy Installation & Removal by Aaron Moore

Great except for the size.

No instructions (btw), but it only takes a few minutes to figure out which side is against the window and move the grille around to get the best coverage. I have a Toyota Corolla (subcompact) and the screen leaves quite a bit of space to the right and left of the rear right window, besides the non-opening "wing" window behind it, so the sun gets in there. One day a supplier will actually go to great lengths to ensure their products match the make, model and year of the car so buyers can be sure that the back of the glass is really well finished. For the performance, I "tested" the part of the windows that was covered by the screen, and the effect is impressive: I opened the back door of the car and put my hand on the uncovered pane - it was hot in the sun, 90 degree day. Then I put my hand on the covered glass: no heat compared to the uncovered area. The manufacturer wisely advises you to turn off a window with a screen on it or simply not to open it, otherwise it will fly into traffic.

Pros
  • Sturdy finish
Cons
  • Not as thick as other picks
