It's not a bad product, nothing extraordinary.

Overall, I'm happy with the laptop so far. A very good picture in terms of color reproduction as far as possible at 144 Hz. If you plan to take it for a long time, then itโ€™s better to look towards the GX502 model with the RTX2070, where the video card will not be much inferior and perhaps even outperform the 2080 MAX-Q. there is a full-fledged version, and it is much easier to upgrade, there are 2 M2 slots for SSD and 16GB is soldered on the board out of the box, which makes it possible to put another + 16GB, and a 9th generation processor. A small addition after 7 months of using this laptop. The laptop's cooling system is broken. I handed it over to the company's SC under their premium service program. And then it began. The laptop lay in the SC for more than 2 months, I was constantly fed breakfast and phrases saying we are waiting for the details. Of. Asus support responded with replies. As a result, after threats to them by the court and Rospotrebnadzor, they managed to knock out an act of non-repairability from them. At the same time, they immediately had details (which I hardly believe), but I still insisted on a refund. As a result, the money returned to me exactly at the end of the 3rd month after the laptop was handed over to the SC. Their service is just disgusting. I will never buy Asus again. Perhaps their technique itself is normal, but there is no more desire to engage in such a circus in the event of a breakdown.

Pros
  • 1. Excellent screen 2. Good 8th generation processor from Intel 3. Top RTX 2080 true in MAX-Q variant 4. Interesting design and layout of the keyboard feels like working with an external keyboard, which is convenient when working at the table, it will definitely not be comfortable on your knees, and who will do this? ) 5. Compact 6. Not badly assembled
Cons
  • 1. 8 GB of memory is soldered on board + there is another 8 GB chip for a total of 16 GB, it is possible to upgrade to 24 GB, but then the ability to operate the memory in dual-channel mode will be lost, which is tantamount to death in games. Wasn't it already difficult to unsolder 16 GB out of the box and leave the slot empty, as is done in the GX502? 2. SSD Intel 660p, average in a laptop costing 180+, for this money you could put a faster Samsung EVO 970. 3. Windows 10 Home Single Language, why not a pro version again for such money? 4. Very small battery, but this can be forgiven. The laptop is gaming and compact, but again, the same GX502 will be more long-lasting :) 5. Difficult to upgrade 6. Get ready for the pain after reinstalling Windows to a clean one, it will certainly supply all the firewood, but you will have to install the software for controlling coolers and lighting + numpad yourself, you need to install the software in a certain order: 0. ASUS Precision TouchPad Driver 1. ASUS System Control Interface V2 2. Armory Crate Service 3. ROGLiveService 4. Armory Crate Service & ROGLiveService ate 5. Armory Crate from MS Store : Even after all the manipulations with the software, I do not see notifications about switching cooling modes, although the modes themselves are switched, I will write to support)
