Review on Philips PET724 7 Inch Portable Player by Reginald Hamilton

Revainrating 4 out of 5

Dollar for Dollar "Best "

This was my first DVD player so I did a lot (a month) of research and shopping. I went with the 10.5-inch widescreen, but it wasn't worth the extra $120 for a 3.5-inch when the screen resolution was the same. I paid $139 at Circuit City. This device can do it all. keeps the battery charged, can be plugged into the car adapter and charged when travelling, also uses the adapter to connect to the mains, 4 to 5 hours of battery life is never a problem Motels have TVs but no players, and with the cables provided you can You watch DVDs on the TVs in the motel rooms and plug them into the wall. no concerns found. This is not a 19 inch TV so for other reviews remember you are looking at a 7 inch screen. As for the starting noise, my car is loud when starting but when I pull away it purrs like a kitten and so does this unit. If you're looking for a 10.5-inch widescreen model, the best I've researched is the Philips PET 1002.
