This tie is beautiful and elegant, it completes the look I wanted from a classic 50's outfit... but it's small. My wrists are 6 3/4 inches (about 175mm) and it's too tight for comfort. This strap is designed for smaller wrists, even with stretch. I was afraid of breaking it because I took it off after trying it on. There's some stretch, but it's nowhere near what you'd see on an elastic band. As for durability, I don't know how long it will last if you wear it every day. It's nice for a few hours at a time, but doesn't look like it's going to last very long. I will be returning it due to the small size but if you have smaller wrists this might be perfect for you.
