I bought the most expensive e-collar at the pet store the day our bug kitten was sent for surgery to be neutered. This is a tapered fabric collar with Zelcro for fixation. She absolutely hates that E-Cone collar, as do all pets. She walks weird and generally looks depressed when I put her on. I was told that she has to wear this cone for 2 weeks. I started looking for an alternative and came across this cute e-collar. Considering the price I thought why not try it. She is SO happy about it. It's like life comes back to her when I put on this alternative collar. She can eat, drink, walk and use the toilet normally. The reason I gave it 4 stars is because it doesn't seem to stick around for long. I only use this alternative when I'm around to check it out. Otherwise, when I'm not around, I'm more comfortable with her wearing a cone, so I know she won't take it off. At the very least, it's a good way for your cat/dog to take a break from wearing a cone for a long time.
