Great great collar but be careful with the cord closure

Really like this collar and have bought several. I tried a plastic cone from the vet - neither she nor I could put it on. I tried to inflate a donut that was supposed to be attached to an ordinary collar or gauze tie - it almost choked! I can't say that he initially liked the current donut, but he quickly got used to it. He can eat from it with no problem - I use a raised plate, it makes it easier. It's flexible enough to slip into its covered bed. He can't reach his butt or ears, but he can…

Great idea but doesn't last long

I bought the most expensive e-collar at the pet store the day our bug kitten was sent for surgery to be neutered. This is a tapered fabric collar with Zelcro for fixation. She absolutely hates that E-Cone collar, as do all pets. She walks weird and generally looks depressed when I put her on. I was told that she has to wear this cone for 2 weeks. I started looking for an alternative and came across this cute e-collar. Considering the price I thought why not try it. She is SO happy about it…

Nissa, Queen of Donuts

I bought it for my cat Nissa Lyubima. Nissa's irritated eye sometimes itches. And when she does, she manipulates it and makes it worse. I've tried various types of Elizabethan collars (aka "Cone of Shame"), but she acted like a complete idiot - crashing into walls on purpose and pretending she needed a closed tray, though she didn't - to force me to remove it. A friend suggested I try a donut and I'm glad I did. Not only will Nissa tolerate it, but she seems to enjoy it. Nissa walks around in…

Prevents ear scratches!

Our 13 year old cat had some problems with his ears which would not heal due to his scratches. We had a plastic cone that we had to cut off so he could eat and drink from the vet, but he still found the edges of boxes or chairs to scratch and reopen his wounds. So I went on a search and found some lovely e-collars, but many of them didn't prevent scratches. Even cones. Watched, laughed and read the questions and comments about whether the hind legs can reach the ears. I read it's not allowed so
