Honestly. Borax is everything! I originally bought this to get rid of an ant infestation on our kitchen countertops (we live in an apartment) and it helped. I leveled the tabletop and the edges of the tabletop with Braun, and then cleaned the tabletop clean with it and - bam! The ants are no more. Much has remained since then. I used a mixture of borax and baking soda and cleaned our carpets. Our room has literally never smelled so clean. The same goes for furniture! Works great. Also use it in detergents with your gym clothes! This will help get rid of those nasty crotch sweats or lingering BO smells in your quick-drying shirts (also as a tip for that stuff, don't put it in the dryer). Borax also helped remove oil stains from my clothes, which is great because sometimes it looks like your favorite shirt is ruined, but it's not! It can be saved by borax. The only criticism is the box. I wish the packaging was more intuitive so the box could be closed and reopened instead of standing wide open. Plastic sucks, but it could be stored under the sink or in a closet. I think actually I might just go ahead and put it in a stein or something!
