Review on 🔒 ARCANITE USB Fingerprint Reader AKFSD-07 for Windows 10 Hello - Enhanced 360-Degree Sensor Security Device with 0.05s Response Time by Mark Morrow

My work laptop locks the screen if left unattended for 10 minutes. Our password policy requires a complex password. I used to type my password with "fat fingers" many times, so this little device solved most of those problems, just by placing a finger on the reader, the lock screen will quickly unlock. Now, once my screen is locked, I just touch that reader and it unlocks quickly. Sometimes the fingerprint is not read and I have to enter a PIN (or password) to get back into the system. Due to Covid I wash my hands very often, so I found that if the fingers/hands are slightly damp or moist it is difficult for the finger reader. In general, it works for me 95% without problems, which is more than acceptable for me. I have recommended this device to several of my colleagues and friends and have received very positive feedback from them. Eventually, I hope Arcanite develops a larger product that reads the entire fingerprint for even greater accuracy.
