Great blades! Most of the time I use a pen, but I decided to try this one too. The main benefit I've seen with these feathered blades is that once you get a little more experienced and comfortable with a safety razor, you can shave faster with them than with feathers. The pen is very sharp, it can certainly leave a razor blade if you have to go 2 times all over your face. Not this one. You can also shave a little faster with it. Let's say you're in a bit of a hurry and need to shave in the morning. This allows you to shave faster without injuring yourself. The only downside is that they are not as sharp as a feather. They don't cut as tight and you can't grow your hair out as much. If you're on a hot date or something and want to look extra cool, I'd stick with a feather. Overall this is a great blade and definitely does the job, just make sure you are buying the right blade for the right purpose.
