. Bought for mountain biking and I just got them in the mail. The seams were really bad, worse than written in the photos. I took a lighter and burned off most of the loose ends, but some keep popping up. They reappeared in the photo. However, the padding and fit was great. The padding feels firm but light and very pedal-friendly. Landing tight! Very tight but I find that this type of material will stretch and loosen up a bit over time but try to go outside the size chart. I measured my feet and he said to order a small one. They fit very snug, almost so tight it feels suffocating, but after wearing them for about 30 minutes I even forgot they were on, which leads me to believe they still shrink after a few rides. The pad seems really protective (considering I fell off the bed and landed on my knees to test them) just wish the pad was bigger to cover more area. If you want something with maximum protection, don't order them. I recommend them for singletrack riders who do occasional descents. The front padding feels really protective, but the lack of side padding worries me when it comes to more intense downhill situations.
