Just returned from a month in Germany where I tried this extension cord. For Americans: You can connect any electronics as long as they are double voltage. You cannot connect any electrical device or 125V power supply when this bar is connected to a 240V network. This band does not convert/convert electricity from 240V to 125V. And you still need a plug adapter in the country you are in. So how is it useful? Now you only need one plug converter, not three. When traveling abroad, many places to stay may not have many electrical outlets in the room. And the surge protector protects your mobile phones, computers and everything you need when there is a network surge. (That's good insurance.) And unfortunately you can't take a standard extension cord with you as it will burn out if you plug it into 240V. I found this extension cord to be a great tool, it's very small, dense and surprisingly light. The cord from the plug to the strip isn't very long, and if your plugs are hanging high up on the wall, the strip may dangle a bit. But it's still very workable. It's also great if you like being the hero in airports. Or friends from other countries come to visit. The plugs on the strip are suitable for plugs of all nationalities.
