I have used this product twice and turned off the power switch in my apartment when I turned on both the soup and the grill. I can only use this device with the lights off in my room. I think it will be a good product if you live in a house as it can withstand higher power consumption. Cleaning is a bit rough as the plate is so big. I combined this with the bowl and grill, I would recommend buying a separate one, it's easier to clean, set up and use. The knobs on the machine also turn a lot, so the sticker saying how hot it is is wrong. . There is only a light to indicate the grill/pot is on, not how hot it is. The machine works for a long time (I used it for about 3-4 hours at a time) without any problems.
