I bought this to add two monitors to my Surface Pro 6 (2019 model). I also bought a DisplayPort to HDMI cable for one monitor and used the HDMI (to HDMI) connector for the other monitor. I never managed to get DisplayPort working. I ended up getting a VGA cable for a second monitor and it worked. After reading the reviews I plan to do before ordering, I see that many people have had this problem, which makes me wonder if DisplayPort is even a port? All in all it's better than paying over $200 for a MS branded dock and it does what I bought it for just with VGA and HDMI. I also use a few USB ports with no problems.
