This telescopic antenna was a little loose on arrival: the antenna kept falling off when I folded it behind the radio. I asked the company that made the antenna for advice and they assured me that all the parts can be tightened. I've tried this before, so I had my doubts, but they were right. I just had to persevere. I think the part came loose during shipping. So everything is fine now and my radio reception has improved a lot. The company is super responsive and offers great customer service - very impressive considering the item didn't cost much. I really appreciated it.
