Review on Lowepro Adventura SH 140 II: Ultimate Protection & Portability for DSLR or DJI Spark by Aaron Johnson

Good workmanship, good price, bad design.

I have had Lowepro cases for my previous cameras and they have always been excellent. I recently bought my wife a new LUMIX camera and we needed a bag that could hold a couple of small lenses and the camera body. On paper it looked like a great option. The case I received was well made and included 2 padded internal dividers to keep the lenses safe. However, there were some odd design features that made me want to return it. Firstly, the belt that came with it was a very simple woven knot. It would be uncomfortable carrying this bag around all day, especially on a summer day when your arms/shoulders are exposed. Secondly, the situation is very strange. I don't mind the rear opening for the main pocket, but I have no idea why the tiny front pocket has a giant snap-on lid covering it. It just seems overweight and clumsy. I sent this bag back and ordered the Nova II in the same size. I hope that this model will be a little more comfortable to use. Can't break the assembly but this design seems odd.

Pros
  • handy item
Cons
  • so far so good
