I think I'm getting used to non-verbal building instructions because I can easily follow the blueprints step by step. The product was manufactured to very tight tolerances as there were no gaps or parts difficult to assemble. It won't be a family heirloom. I'm not sure what these materials are. I assume it will be high density foam with a fairly thick layer of paper on both sides. The colors of the two materials go very well together. All in all, if you need a very small shelf, this could be for you. It fits mine perfectly.
