Purchased for ThinkPad X270. Technically, the X270 is a bit large, but the chassis fits like a glove - **no** extra space. The next size up looked like it was too big. I am happy. The seals on the surfaces are also about what I expected. It doesn't add an overwhelming amount of volume. Easily fits in a pocket. The padding around the edges is about what I would expect from a typical neoprene laptop sleeve - not much but there is some protection. The case looks solid at the moment (2.5 weeks), but time will tell. This is intended for relatively light use. I might look for something else if I really wanted to punish him. The stitch pattern embroidered on the sleeve looks stylish, but there are a few loose threads that need trimming. It's unclear if this will be revealed over time. Verdict: I am satisfied that the case will serve its purpose.
