It works in compressed air dust collectors

So I got tired of buying air tanks for my computer gigs, I also never liked air tanks shooting liquid at parts of the computer when held upside down and it will weigh down delicate parts like fan blades if not wiped clean. That's how I came across this product. Most people seemed to think that canned air has more pressure, even the special 'blue model' that's on sale, so I went straight upstairs and bought the 'industrial strength' model, which seem to be pretty much the same has pressure. to canned air. This is one of the advantages, the other is the compactness of the product. In my opinion, this is where the positives end. So now for the cons: canned air is lighter, this model weighs 2-3 pounds by my estimate. It's very noisy so make sure you don't mind people watching if you spend money on the spot. Next, the design itself: terrible, lazy, cheap - why? Because this unit is a plastic welding of the front and back of the plastic shell. The plastic seems strong enough to withstand bumps and knocks, but its construction does nothing for a buyer looking to get a return on their investment year after year. "Hurricane" in this case is actually a combination of battery and fan motor. When the day comes when the battery doesn't last as long, most users throw this thing away because there isn't an easy way to replace the battery. I paid over $80 for this thing, you better think I want to use its function in selling canned air FAR. Aside from not being easy to replace, the manufacturer devalues their device by preventing end users from swapping out batteries and continuing to service them. I also think that the $35 custom case and accessories for this device should be free, especially when the IT pro buys their most expensive model. Due to the weight and unusual size of this item, gifting these items with purchase is simply not a problem as one wrong move could result in your latest tool investment being spilled all over the floor. Regardless, many people have come back and said that this device will never get more pressure to attach a smaller straw, thought I'd give it a try anyway. Here are my findings. The shorter the distance to the blower, the more "thrust" you get from it. When I decided to make my own little straw, there was actually less "pressure" in the final product, equivalent to the last pressure in a typical air can. You CAN reduce the neck of the link pipe to resemble a rectangular shape, but to get more speed out of this device you need to block the air holes and redesign the interior slightly, which in turn increases stress on the components and, ultimately. this may void any warranty. I've found that the nozzle orifice size is only really missed when you need air in a very specific spot a long way from you (which doesn't happen as often as you might think). In all other cases, the air itself moves in the desired direction, penetrating all the small interstices. I hope that some of my ideas will reach the manufacturer and they will update the design of their product. And those who want to buy this carry item can make a more informed decision. For anyone who doesn't need portability, I would recommend a small oil-free electric air compressor with a moisture trap. They are infinitely more flexible to use, have adjustable pressure settings, and deliver consistent, quiet speed.
