I've been paying for more than 10 years. It defies expectations as it's a fairly well designed, shockingly efficient iron for the price. The old adage "buy cheap, buy twice" applies, although the device is technically so simple that a complete failure is unlikely, the cable on one of my devices proved bizarre after weeks of almost daily use. The electronic switch does not work. enable when used in combination with some USB power supplies I've tried, but I usually use it from a good quality 2A lipo pack for portable soldering.
