Firstly I understand they are not Coast Guard approved; however, something is better than nothing. Our family often visits the seaside town to visit a resort with a pool and beach. My four year old loves the beach but yells and cries because of his life jacket. He can't move or do what he wants. We still wear it every time we talk about the sea, but we spend most of our time in the pool. These armbands (sorry OTTER wings) are amazing. They stay down. He wears them! He asks to wear them to play in or near the water. He learns to swim confidently without fear. To be honest they saved my life and made me (mama bear) less anxious.
