I feed them to my parrot. They are huge and he loves them! Lately I've been so frustrated with large parrot mixes with so many fillers that they just get thrown on the ground. Even large pet stores have reduced the quality of bird seed. They invest millions of dollars to make quality dog and cat food, but they put junk in my pet's pocket! He is my family and deserves good food, not chopsticks, tiny seeds and moldy raw peanuts which are incredibly dangerous to bird health. I use these seeds, a packet of sour flowers, some millet, and boiled peanuts or chunks of almonds to make our own blend. I even planted a few in the spring and got the most beautiful flowers!
