later This duvet is amazing quality for the price. The velvet is very soft and looks and feels just as good after washing (description says "dry clean" under "care" but later in the description it says do not dry clean, wash in cold water and tumble dry low). I had no trouble doing my own laundry. The inside is a smooth cotton linen, but that doesn't bother me as I use a sheet underneath and I like the contrasting textures. I don't think "burgundy" is an accurate description of the color. Nice that the color matches the photos. It's more of a muted brick or dark pink than a purplish red like burgundy. I wanted a warmer tone so the color suits me perfectly! One last thing, I noticed a few negative reviews stating this is a super thin duvet and not a thick fluffy duvet etc. It's a duvet cover. For those who don't know, duvet covers have a hole at the bottom to slide the comforter through. It does not come with a comforter! It is a duvet cover only but has drawstring ties at the inner corners to secure the duvet and a concealed button closure at the bottom edge. I strongly recommend buying this product.
