I have not seen any evidence that this product works

I have used this product on two of my dogs. Your vet recommended it specifically for my Sheltie who was about 12 at the time. I also used it on my youngest dog, a border collie mix. I have tried the product for several months and have not seen any improvement in any of the dogs. When you think about it, how can you spray something in a dog's mouth and hope it somehow reaches all the surfaces of the teeth and gum line? The vet I have now insists that her clients brush their dogs teeth with enzyme toothpaste as there really is no other way to get to all the teeth and gums and that is what you need to do to prevent tooth decay , stone and periodontitis to prevent. It is also considered to be the safest method of dental care for dogs. My advice: start brushing when your dog is a puppy, do it every day, and your dog will likely only need professional brushing occasionally. If you have an older dog, get it checked out by a veterinarian, have it professionally cleaned if necessary, and then get on with cleaning your dog's teeth. Your vet probably has a video on how to get started with an adult dog.
