Bought as a gift for my father who suffers from bone spurs. He tried using a bottle of frozen water under the foot product, but to no avail. He loved this gift and uses it every day. It hasn't been long enough to determine if long-term pain relief exists. However, he says he feels great and finds relief using it. much better than anything he has tried. My mom who has plantar fasciitis also likes to use it.
