Not A5 size for my opinion

I bought these books to use as scrapbooks that I could fill while I travel. I mostly wanted to be able to tape things into it (maps, brochures, tickets, etc.). I also wanted to be able to write in it with my travel fountain pen and ink combo (EF nib and Noodlers Black). Considering that my pen and ink combo is pretty well behaved, I didn't need the greatest paper, but I did need a sturdy book with thicker paper to fulfill my main purpose. These books meet those requirements, but I have one…

Pros
  • Subject Notebooks
Cons
  • Could attract dirt or fingerprints due to cover material

Nice journals. Basically they a smidgeon smaller than a regular (US) paper folded in half. It’s a nice size (later I’ll explain why I like this size). I have the September Leather Traveler’s journal and wondered about these notebooks. As with the Traveler's Journal I'm very pleased with them. They come in a 3 pack with 3 different colored covers (black, kraft and white). These are stitched rather than stapled. Pages are secure so they don’t rip out, unless I want them out. (I’d probably cut…

Pros
  • For the number of pages in each notebook and the quality of paper, it's a little pricey.
Cons
  • Limited color options for cover designs

Simply Perfect for my opinion

I've been looking for affordable inserts for an A5 traveler's notebook and these are just perfect. The paper is nice and thick as well as fountain pen friendly. I see very little ghosting and no bleed through so far with the pens and markers that I use on a regular basis. These are just simple dotted inserts. The dot grid is comparable to the more expensive notebooks but I do believe the paper quality is much better. While pre-numbered pages and pre-printed key and index are nice, I like that I…

Perfect size, quality paper, and 3 for the price of 1

I love these! I wanted to make a smallish bullet book to organize my finals schedule and these are so perfect! Every other bullet book was with $10-25 for just one book and this one at 3 for $10 is really the best deal! I really wanted something in the a5 size that wasn’t thick so the 120 page is nice and thin to slip in a backpack. I’ll definitely be buying again when my other set is filled up.

Pros
  • Nice
Cons
  • Not suitable for those who prefer lined or blank pages

Works great in traveler's notebook

These are great, and I prefer them to the Moleskine Cahier. I have a traveler's notebook (Midori), and I bought these for that. The Midori notebooks and the Moleskine notebooks are signficantly more expensive. I decided to give these a shot since I needed several notebooks strictly for writing (not drawing or painting). I measured them out, and trimmed them with xacto knife to make them Midori sized. They're the right height already, so I simply had to cut a strip off the width. These are great

hands down the best travelers notebook inserts I've used

I looked everywhere on Etsy and other places for good travelers notebook inserts. I have had the inserts from the citrus bookbindery (very heavy paper. heavier than construction paper.) and from moleskine. These are probably my forever inserts! I use Papermate Inkjoy Gel pens on them. no bleeding, no ghosting whatsoever! Same with tombows (of course.) and mildliners (of course.) nothing comes through at all! The page is dry 2 seconds after I write (with moleskine paper and gel pens it's a very…

Pros
  • I love it , it is sturdy really transportable and the paper is so smooth.
Cons
  • May not fit in smaller bags or purses

I really like these. No frills

I really like these. No frills, exactly what I was looking for. A bit of bleed through with certain markers, but the paper isn't super thin. The stitching/binding is sturdy and holding up really well. I've even removed a page and not had any issues with its partner coming loose. I will likely purchase again in the future when I've filled these. I love that they come in a three pack and the price is really great.

Pros
  • ‎September Leather
Cons
  • No strap or elastic closure to keep pages secure

My Favorite Journals!

I initially purchased these A5 dot bullet journals for my Traveler’s Notebook, but happened to grab it one day when I wanted to take notes for one of my classes. I dedicated one notebook per course since I wanted to save them for future reference. They are awesome! I love how easy they are to carry around or slide into the book I’m taking notes on. The paper is a dream to write on for me. My pens glide smoothly and quickly, and no issues with ink smears. I’m mostly using my teal Uni Hobonichi…

Pros
  • Love scribbling in either one!
Cons
  • Pages may bleed with certain types of pens

Perfect for my purpose

I use these notebooks for planning projects and they are the perfect size for that. I like the dot-grid pattern because it helps me keep my writing straight without being distracting. I like the dot-grid on the covers, too. It makes them distinctive (I have other similarly sized Moleskine notebooks that I use.)I use a Sailor 1911 fountain pen and have no bleed-through.The only small issue I have is that they were a bit bent when they arrived. Not so much that I'd return them, but I'm a bit of a

You're Getting What You Get, A Good Value

There's nothing premium about it which is what I was looking for: a good valued dotted notebook to start bullet journaling. I use a Pilot G-2 gel pen (5 mm) which isn't an inky pen that leads to bleeding so I can't judge the quality of the paper aside that it's resistant to tearing from using an ultra fin pen. Excellent product if you're looking for something simple at a good price point. The dotted cardboard covers look nice (the white one I'm sure will stain in the future). I don't recommend…

Pros
  • Great for bullet notebook journal, class notes, doodles, project notebook for work, home or school and much more
Cons
  • May not lay flat on some surfaces

• Bought 2 sets (6pcs in total)• Comes in a clear plastic packaging• Comes in black, white, flesh• Notebooks have rounded corners. The covers also have dotted grid which is nice• Spine binding (thread) matches the notebook color: White notebook, gray thread. Black notebook, black thread. Brown notebook, brown thread• Pages are yellowish like MoleskineWhat I didn’t like:• I opened the package and left the notebooks overnight on my table. The next morning the notebooks became all warped. Not sure

Pros
  • ‎Dotted
Cons
  • Limited space for carrying additional items like pens or stickers

Great for getting started in bullet journaling

Great for the price. I’m using as a starter for bullet journaling and wanted separate journals for work and personal. These are an inexpensive way to get started and I think I’m going to stick with them long term. I like the size and the stitching seems decent. The paper is kind of thin and will bleed through with heavy inks. I found that a Pilot G2 05 pen works well with only faint ghosting. An 07 pen lays down too much ink and bleeds too much. I do wish you could get these in single color…

Great craft journals!

I bought these to keep track of different craft projects. I use one per craft. They are light enough to carry in my bag when I go shopping. If I had one complaint it would be the dots are somewhat to light to see. However I would still recommend these journals.

Pros
  • Fits easily into bags or backpacks
Cons
  • May not be suitable for those with larger handwriting

Great dot grid notebooks

I've been using these exact notebooks for 5 years now for my bullet journals. I can usually get about 5-6 months use out of one notebook. I like the freedom that the dot grid matrix gives me while still providing a structure to my pages. The paper is not very thick and you can often see through the pages, but for my purposes this hasn't been an issue.

Pros
  • Lay flat sewn binding, round corner, multicolor covers & eye pleasing cream paper
Cons
  • Not ideal for those who plan to use a lot of ink on the pages

Paper looks great, but very, very floppy

I bought these notebooks to start writing in paper again. At first, I liked writing my notes on this book. However, I hated that I needed a flat surface to write on this book. Nice price for 3 books, but not the product if you like writing with your book on your hand.

Pros
  • Office Products
Cons
  • Not ideal for those who prefer spiral-bound notebooks

Minimal little notebooks - great for the price

I love these little notebooks. They're very minimal in design and feel much less intense to write in than Moleskine journals, which feel too expensive to use informally. They're good for field notes and doodles and I like decorating the covers. I was hesitant at first because a few of the other reviews say that pen ink bleeds through the pages, but I've been using black Micron pens to write and doodle in these journals without seeing any bleeding yet.

Pros
  • Office & School Supplies
Cons
  • Could be more difficult to find on shelves due to generic design

Absolutely a Great Buy!

These journals are just the best! I bought them after reading many reviews and I have to say that they are more than worth it for the tiny price tag. The pages are a lovely cream color and the thickness of the pages is just right. Most markers and pens don’t bleed in the slightest, I’ve tried felt tips, gel inks, tons of different types and only found that sharpies have some show throw but still no bleeding. The covers are also dotted. The entire product is well put together. When it’s time for…

Pros
  • Helps keep ideas and tasks organized
Cons
  • Could attract scratches or scuffs on cover material

Surprisingly high quality

Love it! The pages are actually just thick enough and it has exactly enough pages for me to use one notebook per month since I have monthly, weekly, and daily pages.

Pros
  • Comes in a convenient 3-pack
Cons
  • Not ideal for those who prefer to write with fine-tipped pens

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Surprisingly great!

I fully expected ink to bleed through the fine pages, but I tested ALL of my pens on these (Pilot G2s, Papermate Felt Flairs, black Mujis, and a set of Mildliners) and nothing bled through. The size is perfect for tucking into a purse, I keep one for everything I do (each class, work, etc.) and it's no weight at all. 100% recommend for the price!

Pros
  • ‎N17-A5DOT-3PACK
Cons
  • Printing errors may occur on some pages

Simple and balanced quality

Very nice notebooks for notes and sketches. Nice balance of quality, design and how it feels in general. Found the size and format very practical for both business and personal use.

Pros
  • ‎5.5 x 8.25 inches
Cons
  • Pages may become loose over time
