So awesome for journaling

used one of these journals for a anniversary scrap book journal type of thing It came out great! The gridding is perfect doodling and writing long passages evenly. Markers like sharpie tend to bled through onto the back of the paper you wrote, but never as dramatically to the next page. Super awesome journals overall fits a lot, can't wait to use the other two in this package!

Pros
  • Affordable and great value for the product
Cons
  • May not appeal to those who want a more unique or decorated notebook

Good price/ fast shipping

It’s a good price for what you get. I started bullet journaling and I’m loving it! The only thing I will say is that when I use my markers you can see it through the back of the page. One picture is when I traced some lines so it was bolder and you can clearly see it. The other picture I wrote normally and it’s barely noticeable but you can see the outlines of the pictures I glued on to the front of the page. None of this bothers me as it’s my first bullet journal and I have nothing to compare…

Pros
  • Dots aid in organization and neatness of writing
Cons
  • May not have enough space for detailed sketches or drawings

Great for a bargain find

These journals are a great size for carrying around, and the dotted grid is perfect for creating clean straight lines that aren't interrupted by the pattern on the paper. My only real complaint is that the paper is a little thinner than similar journals. It's not a deal-breaker, but allows for a bit more bleeding than I was expecting. I just need to work quicker!

Pros
  • ‎8.25 x 5.7 x 0.2 inches
Cons
  • May require a specific size of the pen to use

Great A5 dot notebooks - Dots are a bit hard to see though.

Paper quality is pretty great but the dots are hard to see in poor lighting. If you have sight problems I'd recommend a different brand.

Pros
  • Notebooks & Writing Pads
Cons
  • Not ideal for those who prefer thicker pages

Only so so on my review.

For the price, not bad but I don’t think I’ll buy these again. The dots are way too light. Compared to my Leuchtturm, I can barely see them. Wasn’t a deal breaker cuz I only needed it for extra writing space in my TN. I wouldn’t recommend it for bullet journaling though. The covers feel more like heavy cardstock than cardboard but the covers are rounded so it does have a nice clean look. I did like that there were more pages in these than most inserts. I didn’t do a pen test because I only use…

Pros
  • Provides a professional and polished look
Cons
  • Pages may not be as easy to tear out compared to some notebook options

simple and sweet good for me

These notebooks are fantastic! I don't have much to compare it to as this is my first dotted notebook/bullet journal type thing, but it suits all my needs. I'm currently halfway through my first notebook and there is minimal bleeding through of my felt tip pens. The minimalistic design and small size(both in dimensions and # of pages) make it perfect for carrying it around and whipping it out at any time to jot down thoughts and whatnot.

Pros
  • ‎Newestor
Cons
  • Could be more difficult to flip through quickly

Best ones yet - my new review

Better than the Northbooks ones IMO. These might be a little smaller, but they seem to sit flatter and have a great, light-but-noticeable dot pattern. They look great as well. A new go-to notebook.

Pros
  • ‎10.8 ounces
Cons
  • Could be prone to bending or creasing

Great Notebook good for me

Perfect notebooks for recording thoughts and doodling while in Zoom meetings. This is the second set of this brand that I have ordered and will do it again. (nice gride, nice paper quality, and nice cover).

Pros
  • Can be used for personal or professional purposes
Cons
  • Could be more difficult to find replacement notebooks for the same price

Smooth writing! good for me

When I recieved the notebooks, I had to start using one right away for a game. The papers feel super smooth when you touch and write on them. The best thing is that their dotted, so you can input more of your creativity. I also brought the notebook to class to test through out the day how well it will hold. Holds very well (As this was a simple 2 day doing).

Pros
  • ‎Smooth
Cons
  • Could be too bulky for some users

I am very happy with the paper and binding quality of these dot grid babies. I love dot grid for the ease of drawing up diagrams or partitioning up the page for a more visual formatting of my notes. I find conventional row-by-row notes to be very hard to take in at a glance. Also, ideas don't come in rows. The complex relationships between ideas call for a more freewheeling format. Yet I'm also a little compulsive about a neat appearance of my notes. Enter the dot grid! Now within the dot grid…

Pros
  • ‎Paper
Cons
  • Could be less durable than some other notebook options

Cute Notebooks good for me

I used these for sketching and wireframing. Cute notebooks and they came without being bent or torn in any way. They are pretty durable a they have survived being tossed around in my backpack the whole semester.

Pros
  • Dotted pages allow for versatile usage
Cons
  • May not be ideal for those who travel frequently

Good starter bullet journals

These are the perfect size if you want to try out bullet journaling but aren't sure if you want to stick with it. The pages are thick enough that there is very little ghosting [at least using Crayola super tips]. However, if you like to use your journals on the go - and they tend to get beat up in the process - then you may need to look into something sturdier, or get some reinforcement backing because within 2 weeks the binding string was coming out and I had to glue them in.

Pros
  • Sturdy enough to hold up to everyday use
Cons
  • Not ideal for those who prefer to use erasable ink or pencils

How about a coverless option for inserts? Less bulky.

These are exactly as they were said to be when I ordered them. BUT! I WISH we could buy inserts exactly like this but.WITHOUT covers. Just pages. The covers are so bulky and serve no purpose for me as I just want inserts for my nice leather cover without being so bulky. I cut the covers off and it is great except the bit that is left is unattractive. I hope someone sees this who can capitalize on this idea, and I am guessing I may not be the only one who would like this uncovered option. ?

Pros
  • High-quality paper that doesn't bleed through
Cons
  • Could take up more desk or table space than smaller notebooks
