My Favorite Journals!

I initially purchased these A5 dot bullet journals for my Traveler’s Notebook, but happened to grab it one day when I wanted to take notes for one of my classes. I dedicated one notebook per course since I wanted to save them for future reference. They are awesome! I love how easy they are to carry around or slide into the book I’m taking notes on. The paper is a dream to write on for me. My pens glide smoothly and quickly, and no issues with ink smears. I’m mostly using my teal Uni Hobonichi Techo 2022 pen now and there is minimal ghosting through the paper, so I’m able to take notes in both sides of the paper easily. I initially began writing in the journals with my Tombow Fudenosuke hard-tip brush pen (see photo 2) and while you could see a little ghosting, I was still able to write on both sides of the paper without issue. I tried for a moment to use a Pilot ultra fine permanent type, but it went through the page too much for my liking (see photo 3). Regardless, it wasn’t too bad considering I was using a permanent marker pen. Mostly, I just enjoy the dot grids- it allows more versatility for me whether I’m taking notes, drawing diagrams, etc. I just ordered two more packs of these journals since I plan to use them through the rest of my master’s program. I highly recommend giving these a try!
