***UPDATE*** I no longer recommend this lens as it has a serious design flaw that causes the glass lens to pop out of the black ring on the back (which is on the phone ) is pressed when plugged in) ) when/when kept in a pocket. I've been through 3 or 4 of these, the reason being I really like the clarity of this lens compared to others I've tried for macro photography when I can't/can't carry my DSLR around. But until this problem is fixed (perhaps by lengthening the rear end?), I would not buy this again and would not recommend it. See photo. ************ This little lens is AWESOME! I've been using it every day since I received it. You can take really decent photos with a close-up lens (it's the only reason I bought it and the only one I've used). I mainly used it for insects, arachnids and flowers. The only problem I have is the lens cap doesn't fit well and I've already lost it and there is no rear lens cap. This leaves the lens vulnerable to scratches and dust/dirt. I would definitely recommend and buy again. I actually bought another one for my mom. :)
