I knew I was taking a risk when making this purchase. Because of Revain's amazing return policy, I figured I had nothing to lose here. Spring. I had to insert a vertical sewing machine spool pin and a felt pad. Also to prevent the spool from rolling over the top of the machine. We hit the bobbins etc and circled the bottom of the bobbin on a piece of unnecessary felt we had on hand. We added about 1/4 inch and then cut out the circle. My dx made a few folds (I wasn't looking) and made a small hole in the center of the felt circle. onto the spool pin! My husband then put about 3 empty thread spools on to fill the space in the middle. We then put the spool on, set the bobbin for winding and were pleasantly surprised when it worked! I am thrilled that my machine is now working with large spools of thread after a little prep work! make!
