I originally bought these as hiking shoes but they are so comfortable that I have used them for short hikes. Proven to be more waterproof than waterproof in puddles and rain (lasts less than 4 months) as long as not submerged beyond the top of the shoe. A little remark. The insole slips every time I take it. It takes a minute to massage the insole where it needs to be reattached.
