I spilled some flavored water (fruit punch) on the carpet and had nothing to clean it up. After searching the internet for solutions, I came across a YouTube video praising this product and how it did a wonderful job on red spots. I needed to find a solution to my current dilemma immediately, so further searching the internet led me to the alcohol and iron technique, which worked very well for me. This method removed 98% of the stain to the point where it was barely noticeable. This method even worked very well on the mysterious red spot that had been on the other side of my couch for over a year. , there was another treat, this time grape-flavoured. I was able to remove most of the stain immediately with a stain remover, but after drying the red stains remained. I immediately went for this liquid stain remover, thinking it was some kind of miracle cure, and was completely disappointed. This product did virtually NOTHING for the stain, perhaps a 5% improvement. no longer get. Instead of alcohol I used peroxide which still worked way better than that crap. It would be even more frustrating if I didn't replace the carpet in the hallway with a wooden one at some point in the future. But as they say, this product is useless.
