Review on BraceUP® Adjustable Wrist Support Silver by Kevin Folsom

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Good support: braces, splints and supports

I bought this splint to support my wrist after crocheting. When I crochet for a long time I start to get pain, numbers and weakness from movements. The effects lasted long after I stopped so I wanted to try and find something to improve and reduce the discomfort I was feeling. The orthosis itself is very soft and comfortable to wear. I have sensitive skin and hate being rubbed on anything that scratches me. I have no problem wearing a corset, even after a while. It doesn't really smell even if I wear it when I sweat, which is very good in summer. The shoulder strap is very nicely designed and I am satisfied with the quality of the material. It doesn't look like it will tear easily or fall apart on me. The thumb hole is big enough and comfortable but not tight. The fact that it's adjustable allows me to choose how tight I want the brace to be. This is good as I tend to get gassy when crocheting. I can wear it loose until the swelling goes down and it's easy to adjust once that's gone. When you put on the orthosis, you will feel the support in your wrists. It's not too thin or anything to actually offer support. Lifting objects while using the brace is nice and easy. If I pulled or strained my wrist I would definitely use this brace until I feel better.
