Value for money, I prefer it over my $200 LG 24MP59HT-P.PLUSE for all non-gaming tasks. ANGLE ADJUSTABLE HEAVY METAL BASE: LG is made of plastic and cannot be adjusted in any way. All-metal frame and body (very good solidity feeling!): LG - thin plastic. No backlight!: LG - Backlight in the corners, which is quite noticeable in darker games or shows. VESA mount! LG: NOT mounted! (on a $200 monitor? lol) Cons! Picture Quality - Needs a bit of tweaking to be decent.: LG - Very good quality when backlighting is absent. Lots of room for expansion. I'm using it as a monitor for a streaming service and plan on getting a second one soon! I can even replace my LG with one. I haven't personally experienced dead pixels, but it does seem to happen from time to time, but not for me! I can only recommend this monitor!
