For some reason this year, I've had a terrible time finding ankle boots I like. Decided to try this pair and they fit pretty well (sometimes rubs the top of my foot, but that stopped as I broke them in). I use sole inserts with them, I think they'd be a little hard without them. They are a chunkier style than I usually get, but they're good for walking to the car in rain and snow, have better traction than the booties I usually get on their sole. They don't squeak or 'clomp' on the concrete floor at work. Ordinarily I prefer lace boots and avoid zippered ones, but the zippers on these are really convenient and haven't given me any trouble. And if they do eventually get stuck, I can still lace/unlace them to get them on and off.
