Yes, thin. It fits my MacBook Pro perfectly but has a thin body. So far, however, there have been no durability problems. I am, of course, talking about the need to carry more than one laptop in your bag. You need a charger and cable, and sometimes a mouse. In fact, the designers foresaw this need and included nice accessories (a charging case and a mouse case matched to the bag's material). The only thing really missing from the bag itself is a pocket to put those things in. So I kind of squeeze it into the main body, worried about stretching the flimsy material to its limit on the road. Otherwise the design is quite nice. Love the tilt of the laptop and the idea of using the flip cover as a mouse pad. Of course I like the handle on the case. Seams and the like also look solid. That's all. Thin material, sewn together like a USMC BDU and no external pocket to stash essential items. It took me a while to get used to it, but I use it regularly when I live in the office. Worthy product!
